I created this collage from digital photos I have taken over the years. the background frame-type graphical element is taken from a mixed-media collage that I did for my thesis show during graduate school. The image is highly obliterated but still offers the grungy, organic feel that I wanted to combine with my "neon" lizard. The lizard is a sculpture that I purchased at an art fair several years ago. It's made of copper, I think, and has a bit of a patina (greenish tints).
