Like "Nightlight Lizzy" I created this collage from digital photos I have taken over the years. The background frame-type graphical element is taken from a mixed-media collage that I did for my thesis show during graduate school; here it is in more of natural state, closer to the color of the original mixed-media piece. It still offers the grungy, organic feel that I wanted with the "other worldly" lizards in the foreground and in the inner portion of the frame. The lizard is a sculpture that I purchased at an art fair several years ago. It's made of copper, I think, and has a bit of a patina (greenish tints).
